Professional Double Glazing Installation in Worthing
Replacing windows in an occupied home calls for care around existing openings, plasterwork, sills and internal finishes. We discuss the proposed style, how the windows need to operate and any access requirements before installation.
Following quotation and product selection, a final survey checks dimensions and specifications before manufacture. During fitting we focus on alignment, weatherproofing, operation and a tidy finish.
For exposed coastal locations, appropriate product specification and ongoing maintenance of hardware, seals and finishes are also important considerations.

Worthing Property Considerations
Double Glazing for Coastal, Period & Modern Homes
Seafront Homes & Coastal Conditions
Properties near Worthing's seafront may be more exposed to wind-driven rain and salt in the air. The location and exposure of each opening can influence the choice of glazing, frames, hardware and maintenance routine.
We can discuss suitable product options and their care requirements. For modern rear extensions, bifold doors and sliding patio doors offer different approaches to daylight, access and available space.
For privacy on street-facing windows, we'll also discuss obscure glazing and appropriate opening configurations where required.
Traditional Streets & Planning Restrictions
Many of Worthing's older homes have distinctive window proportions and architectural detailing. Sash-style designs, glazing bars and sympathetic frame colours can help complement the property when replacement is appropriate.
Some homes are listed or within conservation areas, where permissions or restrictions may apply. Check the position with Worthing Borough Council or the relevant local planning authority before ordering replacements.
If your existing windows may only need repairs, our window repairs service explains the types of work currently offered.
